Badminton at School
Thursday Nights at 7.30 pm (Winter months)
New players are most welcome.
Quiz Evening
Wednesday, 28th April at 7.30 pm in the Conservative Club in Almondbury.
Generally, the contest is between around eight teams of three or four people.
Members and their guests can enter their team in advance, or they are welcome
to turn up on the night and participate in what is always a very enjoyable
evening. Quizmaster, as always, will be Keith Crawshaw, and a light supper will
be provided during the interval.
TENNIS
From Thursday, 10th June to Thursday, 26th August on the School tennis courts
(weather permitting) from 7.15 pm until dusk.
Gothard Cup Golf Competition
This will take place on Friday, 16th July at Woodsome Hall Golf Club.

REUNION 2010
Annual Dinner
Saturday 20th November 2010 at the Galpharm Stadium. Full details, together with
an application form for tickets, will appear in the next issue of
The Almondburian and on www.oas.org.uk. It is always good to see members making a special effort
to stage a reunion of their year at the dinner and such occasions are always
enjoyable. Those with a special anniversary this year
– members of the classes of 1940, 1950, 1960, 1970, 1980, 1985, 1990 or 2000 (or
indeed anyone else who takes a notion to do so)
– should consider starting to organise their class reunion earlier rather than
later.
Founders’ Day
Sunday 21st November 2010 at All Hallows Church, Almondbury. Detailed
arrangements to be announced.
